Installation Guide & System Requirements

Windows Platform Instructions:

1. Click the stable release download link for `JakubMelka.PDF4QT_1.5.3.1.msi` installer.
2. Double-click the downloaded MSI file and follow the setup wizard.
3. Once installed, the PDF4QT application suite (PDF4QT Viewer, PDF4QT Editor, PDF4QT Diff, and PDF4QT DocPage Organizer) will appear in your system applications menu.

Linux Platform Instructions:

1. Download the `PDF4QT-1.5.3.1-x86_64.AppImage` executable file.
2. Give the file execution permissions:

chmod +x PDF4QT-1.5.3.1-x86_64.AppImage

3. Double-click to run the AppImage file directly, no complex dependencies needed.

System Requirements:

CPU: Multi-core processor recommended to maximize multi-threaded rendering performance.
Memory (RAM): Minimum 4GB (8GB or more recommended for smooth viewing or diffing large engineering drawing documents).
Graphics Card: Hardware acceleration support (OpenGL backend available in PDFViewer).
