How to Use the Free Online PDF Text-to-Speech Reader?
Import PDF File
Click the "Choose or Drag & Drop PDF File Here" area in the center to select your local PDF document. Pure client-side parsing ensures your document is never uploaded to any server, guaranteeing privacy and data security.
Click Start Reading
After importing the PDF, click the "▶ Start Reading" button. The system will automatically read out the document text and content in a clear, natural voice. You can pause or resume anytime.
Setting Voice, Speed, Pitch & Volume
In the top "Voice Settings" quick panel or the full settings modal, you can customize your reading experience. Select different voice roles (such as Microsoft natural voices or system speech synthesizers), adjust reading speed (from 0.5x to 3.0x), pitch, and volume, with instant voice testing. Combined with auto page scrolling, it offers a hands-free reading experience ideal for study, listening to books, and recitation.
How to Start Reading PDF Text from a Specific Page
After importing your PDF, scroll to the desired page or type the page number into the top toolbar input (e.g., enter 5 and press Enter, or use Next/Prev buttons). Then click "▶ Start Reading". The speech engine will read aloud starting from your selected page, without having to start over from page 1, making it efficient for listening to specific chapters in long documents.
How to Read PDF Aloud while Auto-Scrolling Pages
After loading your file, enable the "Auto Scroll" toggle in the PDF viewer top control bar and adjust the scroll speed to your liking. Once enabled, the viewer automatically and smoothly scrolls down as text is read aloud, synchronizing audio with scrolling for a hands-free, immersive reading experience.
