Guide: Convert Markdown to PNG/JPG Image
Effortlessly export beautifully formatted Markdown text and mathematical formulas into high-definition PNG/JPG formats, making cross-platform sharing easier than ever.
đŧī¸ Selecting Export Format: PNG or JPG?
The editor supports two common graphic export formats. Choose the one that fits your scenario:
- PNG Format (.png): Lossless compression. Text edges are extremely sharp with no noise, and it fully supports transparency (transparent backgrounds). This is the best choice for blog diagrams, slides, and newsletter layouts.
- JPG Format (.jpg): High compression ratio, yielding very small file sizes. Perfect for sharing directly in chat groups or as long images on social media, ensuring quick load times and lower data usage.
đ Steps to Convert & Export Images
1
Ensure Layout is Fully Rendered
Since the screenshot engine captures DOM rendering data from the current viewport, we recommend scrolling through your document once from top to bottom to ensure all KaTeX formulas and Mermaid diagrams are fully rendered.
2
Open Export Panel & Choose Format
Click the "Export" button in the header toolbar, and select "Export PNG Image (.png)" or "Export JPG Image (.jpg)" in the options panel.
3
Automatic Image Synthesis and Download
An "Export Image" dialog showing ads will pop up. The underlying
html-to-image engine will stitch the editor's viewport seamlessly. After ~1.5 seconds, your browser will download the generated HD image named [filename]_it365.janqi.com__[format].
đ¨ Background Color Customization
The background color of the exported image aligns automatically with your active editor theme:- If you are in Dark Mode, the image will have a cool dark blue background.
- If you prefer a classic Pure White background, simply switch the editor to Light Mode before exporting.
